Previous reunion: May 2015
The Reunion celebrated the 50th anniversary of the founding of Hoverlloyd.
This year it was held at the Pegwell Bay Hotel, in the Ravenscliff Suite. The venue looked across the moonlit mile of shallow water between the site of Hoverlloyd's terminal and the inshore shipping lane.
Over 170 people had a most enjoyable evening. The superb hand-made 4-foot working model of an N4 made a brief run across the floor before engine trouble reminded us of the realities of those early days.

The 2019 Reunion
The event was held at the Manston Sports and Social Club (originally named the Hoverlloyd Sports and Social Club) on 21st May.
Not unexpectedly, numbers were down a little, but 100 was a very respectable number after all these years. It was great to see members from pretty well all departments represented.
The Club did us proud with fine food to go with the celebratory drinks.

The 50th Anniversary Lunch
A special lunch was organised to mark what is probably the last Reunion for many Hoverlloyd members.
The food and service were excellent at The Charles Dickens, Broadstairs.
Following Robin's welcome and toast to our great company, David Ward spoke of Absent Friends and special guest Warwick Jacobs of the Hovercraft Museum, Lee-on Solent made a generous reply.
Thanks were made to Robin, Dennis & Tony for organising the Reunion's activities and website.
Finally June Cooper and George Kennedy, also 1969 stalwarts, cut the beautifully made cake, soon to be devoured without mercy.
